The new adventure of one of the best-known and most beloved couples in the world of video games will arrive on the market in just two months. Specifically, on June 11, those who have a PlayStation 5 under their belt will be able to enjoy Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, although there is a certain sense of uncertainty around the game due to the absence of news in recent months.

Sony is offering a variety of pre-order bonuses for Rift Apart. Customers who pre-order either edition of the game can pick up the beloved Carbonox armor from Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, as well as an “early unlock” of the Pixelizer shotgun from Ratchet & Clank (2016). While it’s not entirely clear, it seems like all players will eventually be able to pick up the Pixelizer, regardless of their pre-order status. A physical Launch Edition of Rift Apart will be available at certain retailers in the U.S. and Canada; it will sell for $69.99 and will feature a voucher for the pre-order bonuses.

As expected, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will cost $69.99, or $79.99 for the digital deluxe edition. UK pricing hasn't been confirmed just yet, but based on PS5 launch games like Demon's Souls, it's expected to clock in at £69.99.

Rift Apart’s story focuses around the ever-present Dr. Nefarious and his new invention: a machine that scans for alternate dimensions where he always wins out against the titular heroes. Via this new device, Ratchet & Clank get separated and meet the unnamed female lombax (the same race as Ratchet). The two pals will need to work with this new lombax resistance fighter to reunite across dimensions.

In the meantime, and for those of you who can't stand the urge to get your hands on the video game, you have the 2016 PlayStation 5 version of Ratchet & Clank available for those who own both the console and a copy of the title. This version allows you to play this remake of the first installment of the saga with a stable 60 frames per second.
