- Cyberpunk 2077 is out now

Cheap Cyberpunk 2077 Gift Giving Cyberpunk 2077 arguably the most anticipated game of the year unlocks at midnight local time on December 10th for PCs and consoles and extra-eager players are able to pre-download the game so it’s ready to rock as soon as the clock flips over. It’s been unclear whether this download would include all of the patches necessary to load the game right away and at the final hour CD Projekt RED global community lead Marcin Momot has cleared the air on Twitter.

It’s wild to remember that CDPR actually announced Cyberpunk before The Witcher 3 – a game which came out in 2015. They first announced they were making a game based on the tabletop RPG universe in May 2012 then that October confirmed the name (and year) of Cyberpunk 2077. Come 2013 we saw a wee CGI teaser trailer. And then… they mostly fell quiet until 2018 when they returned with a flash E3 trailer. Several delays later it’s finally out. But CD Projekt Red did break their ‘no crunch’ policy to get here.

We don't know what additional fixes were rolled into the final version of the Day 0 (Day 1) patch. However according to CD Projekt Red's community lead the update for GOG will be "a few hundreds mb"—that seems to represent a small change to the version I played for review. But who knows what those mb are packing?

Update (7:20 PM ET): And right on schedule the PC version of the game should be unlocking on GOG Cyberpunk 2077 Top Up for sale Steam and Epic Games Store. The servers appear to be a bit bogged down delivering that initial patch but if you can’t access it yet try restarting your client.
